Resuming Bus Manufacturing and Operations during and after lockdown
04/06/2020 - Busworld Academy India Webinar
Busworld India

As the economy is gradually being opened up and the restrictions are eased at the end of May 2020, the OEMs have to restart the manufacturing operations and the bus operators in some cities and states have started their operations gradually. The webinar shall discuss the key issues/challenges relating to lack of demand, Labour shortage, high fixed costs, financial constraints, low capacity utilisation and poor revenues receipts, social distancing impacting both manufacturing activities and transport operations and multiple curbs by local administrations both for the OEMs and Bus Operators. The key question is as to when the manufacturing activity by OEMs by the OEMs and bus operations in all segments will reach at pre-covid levels.
